Ok, so this is a bit of a random post but I’ve had a bit of YouTube binge recently and I stumbled across this amazing drummer who calls himself Drummer Cooper. Casey Cooper is a drumming fanatic from Atlanta, Georgia whose life seems to revolve around his passion. Anyway, I thought I’d put a few of my favourite youtube posts up here in celebration of those who not only excel in their field but enjoy it too.

First up is Casey Cooper performing a couple of drum covers of Maroon 5’s ‘One more night’ and Daft Punk’s ‘Contact’. There are dozens more of him on youtube but these two are my favourite…

Next up! Kelly McGarry riding his mountain bike in the Red Bull Rampage competition. Kelly’s using a GoPro camera to get some remarkable footage. It’s as close as most of us are going to get to flying! The backflip over a 72ft canyon is just insane…

I’ve just got to include some Beardyman and Bobby McFerrin as they’re such unique talents. Both extraordinary musicians who have no such need for actual instruments they rely on voice (and sometimes body) alone to perform sounds that you’ll barely believe.

First up is Beardyman Live at the Underbelly a few years ago:

…and a bit of fun with Beardyman in the kitchen (!)

And here’s Bobby McFerrin doing what he does best in a duet performing Jonny Nash’s ‘I can see clearly now’

Here’s some wingsuit proximity flying by Ludovic Woerth and Jokke Sommer in a beautifully shot 16 minute video…

And finally for a bit of fun, one of my favourites. Someone who’s one of the greatest at (and enjoys) winding up his wife. Ex-Formula 1 racing driver Ricardo Petresi drives his wife around a track at breakneck speeds, whilst both are seemingly unaware that he left the in-car video running. Enjoy!
