Some weddings have a Master of Ceremonies. Charlotte and Dan’s Gate Street Barn wedding had Drinks Masters. Lots and lots of Drinks Masters…and they were extremely professional in their work. In short, it was one HELL of a party.

It all started for Charlotte and her friends & family a few minutes away from Gate Street Barn at Slades Farm. This was HQ, Base Camp where they all got made up and ready for the big day ahead. Once dresses were on it was time for a quiet get together with the girls in the private room at GSB while the guests filed into the ceremony room to take their seats. It was a beautiful ceremony with a good old sing-a-long to get people in the mood for the party ahead.

Lawn games, drinks, and canapes were the backdrop to reception and then it was BBQ time for the wedding breakfast. Right up my street and one of the many perks of being a wedding photographer! 🙂 The drinking games during dinner (egged on by the Drinks Masters) got the party swinging and after I had take the couple outside for a few shots during ‘Golden Hour’ it was time to get the party going – courtesy of Michael G Moore aka Michael ‘Jukebox’ Moore. He really will play anything you want. Anything. And you have to see it to believe how just one man and a piano can rock a building off its foundations….truly awesome which pretty much sums up the whole day as well as Charlotte & Dan obviously.

Congratulations guys, and thanks for having me along!

Wonderful natural photos, narrating the whole wedding, from beginning to end, in the most amazing way.

Thanks Steph, lovely to hear that! It was a great day all round…amazing light (despite the doom and gloom forecast), an amazing crowd to shoot who were having the best time of their lives, and a gorgeous couple who were there to celebrate how in love with each other they were. Good day I’d say! 🙂

Fantastic photos Richard, great working with you and look forward to the next time…
