I’m very pleased to have added to this year’s haul of gongs a WPJA Master Piece Award for the picture below from Meryl & Richard’s wedding earlier this year. The WPJA or Wedding Photojournalist Association is one of the longest running and most respected associations of its type and judges documentary wedding photography from around the world. The photograph itself captures the moment Meryl’s sister steps back after having helped her get into the dress, and has the opportunity to take it all in…that her little sister is about to get married. Moments like these are the reason that I love what I do for a living.
